@peter: I felt bad too.  At least none of the people who commented for me had been to my party last year. :-)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This seems like a lesson not only for us about how much people rely on FB, but maybe for our friends too... they could be a little less trusting about what FB tells them, at least when it comes to us.&lt;/p&gt;

Of course, some of my friends wished me a happy birthday so in the end the joke was on me :( I felt bad for misleading them and was a bit surprised that they&#039;d forgotten that they&#039;d attended my birthday party 6 months earlier.&lt;/p&gt;
